Little Nine Heaven Internal Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chicago currently has its studio located at 2120 Sheridan Road in Highland Park, Illinois. Currently three types of weekly classes are being offered. Hsing-I Kung Fu Classes in Highland Park, IL, are generally held on Saturdays from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM. These classes will focus on learning Hsing-I Kung Fu’s forms, skills, and practical fighting applications, improving each student's skills as a martial artist, and will teach the ancient health and longevity principles of Hsing-I. A wide variety of martial skills are taught within the system of Hsing-I, which will be covered in the classes. Skills such as Development of Internal Power, Practical Fighting Applications, Chi Gong, Nei Gong, Tui Na, Tien Gunn, Push Hands, Sparring, Street Fighting, Self Defense, Eight Section Brocade, Iron Hand, Chinese Weapons, Chinese Herbs, Taoist Meditation and more. Class schedules are emailed monthly. Classes are for beginners and advanced students. Chen Tai Chi Classes in Highland Park, IL generally on Wednesdays or Thursdays evenings email for current schedule. These classes will focus on improving each student's skills as a martial artist and will teach the ancient health and longevity principles of the Chen style. Skills covered in the classes will also include Chi Gong, Nei Gong, Practical Fighting Applications, Push Hands, Development of Internal Power, Reeling the Silk, Tui Na, Tien Gunn, Self Defense, Eight Section Brocade, Taoist Meditation and more. Classes can be taken by beginners, as well as advanced students. Class schedules are emailed monthly. Splashing Hands Kung Fu Classes in Highland Park, IL, are generally held on Mondays from 7:00 PM – 8:00PM. Splashing Hands Kung Fu will help to improve each student's skills as a martial artist, and focus on enhancing the combat effectiveness of the student. Martial skills taught include Street Fighting, Practical Fighting Applications, Push Hands, Self Defense, Sparring, and more. Classes are for beginners and advanced students. Classes can be taken by beginners, as well as advanced students. Class schedules are emailed monthly. Highland Park Classes are $130 per style, per month, or $45 per class. Discounts are available for active duty military, full time students, and students who demonstrate both a financial need, and show dedication to practice. Class sizes are between generally between 4 to10 students. Classes are individualized towards participant’s needs, with large amounts of instructor’s attention given towards each individual student. A package of $330 total price each month will be offered for students signing up for all three types of classes for a total of a minimum of 12 classes per month. Scholarships maybe provided for students who show devotion to their training, the school, and demonstrate a need. DePaul Kung Fu Classes and Private Lessons DePaul University Kung Fu classes are taught throughout the school year by senior students of Sifu Baron’s, who founded DePaul Martial Arts Society in 1999. Hsing-I and Splashing Hands Kung Fu Classes are offered at DePaul’s Lincoln Park campus at the Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreation Center at 2235 N Sheffield on the DePaul University Lincoln Park Campus. Classes teach two styles of martial arts, Hsing-I Kung Fu, Splashing Hands Kung Fu, as well as a wide variety of martial skills, such as practical fighting applications, Chi Gong, Tui Na, and Taoist Meditation.
